What are the easy garden vegetables to grow?
Cucumbers: plant in summer, yields by after 2 months. You'll have more cucumbers than you want but they're far superior to market bought.
Squash: Very low maintenance, yield throughout summer, it is very reliable as long as you don't get a fungus. They take up a cubic crap load of space though so be sure to budget for that.
