In accordance with the requirements of the Notice of Zhongshan City Bureau of Industry and Information Technology on the declaration and recommendation of the third batch of municipal Industrial design Centers, from July 21 to August 4, the review team carried out the preliminary evaluation and on-site verification of the declaration materials.
The municipal Industrial design center has received application materials from 8 towns and streets in our city, a total of 13 enterprises, covering the lighting industry, lock industry, metal products industry, rubber and plastic products industry, and beauty industry.

According to the "Scoring Standards" and the declaration materials submitted by the enterprise, the review team will conduct the review and scoring according to the principles of fair, just and open review, and provide the basis for the follow-up on-site verification.
The on-site verification mainly listened to the introduction of the application of the enterprise industrial design center, including the organizational system of the enterprise industrial design center, the operation mode, the core innovation points and effects of industrial design, and the future goal planning of the center;
Inspected the industrial design center site, hardware and software facilities of the declared enterprises and random checks on the work of industrial design practitioners, visited the enterprise product exhibition hall; Checked the relevant certification materials in the declaration, and put forward valuable opinions and suggestions on the upgrading of industrial design products and the development and construction of industrial design center.
The expert group said that by going to the enterprise site for verification, listening to the enterprise's understanding of industrial design and the future development plan of the industrial design center, it learned that enterprises in our city pay more and more attention to industrial design, especially traditional industry enterprises, are actively transforming and upgrading, using design to drive enterprise development, and using design to empower enterprises.

It is also hoped that this project will be used as an entry point to encourage more enterprises with independent brands and independent intellectual property rights in our city to give full play to the power of design innovation, stimulate the importance of industrial design team building within enterprises, and provide continuous support for the iterative updating of enterprise products.
