Technical status check of the rotary tiller before use

Oct 13, 2021

(1) The thickness of the cutting edge of the blade should be 0.5 ~ 1.5 mm, and the curve transition of the cutting edge should be smooth. If the cutting edge is incomplete, its depth should be less than 2 mm, and each knife cannot have more than two defects. The blade must be firmly installed on the knife holder, and there should be locking measures to prevent loosening and causing personal accidents or machine damage.

(2) After the knife is installed on the rotary cultivator, the gap between the tip of the blade and the cover should be 30-45 mm. When the gap is too large, the block will easily be thrown back to the front of the cutter shaft to be cut again, which wastes power; When it is small, it is easy to cause blockage. If the gap is less than 28 mm, the enclosure needs to be refurbished.

(3) After the knife is rolled on the rotary tiller, it should be checked for idling. Keep the rotary cultivator slightly off the ground, engage the power output shaft, rotate the rotary cultivator at a low speed, and observe whether the various parts of the rotary cultivator are operating normally, such as whether the entire knife roll is running smoothly, and whether there are abnormal conditions such as friction.

(4) When installing the universal joint assembly between the tractor and the rotary tiller, the square shaft and the clamping forks of the square shaft sleeve must be in the same plane to ensure the stable rotation speed. The matching length between the shaft and the square bushing is required to be appropriate. The matching length between them is required to be not less than 150 mm when working, and not less than 40 mm when lifting, to prevent falling out or damage due to insufficient matching length during lifting , But also to prevent death due to too long mating length when working. When the movable clamping forks at both ends of the universal joint assembly are connected with the shaft head of the tractor's power output shaft and the shaft head of the intermediate gear transmission box, they must be pushed in place so that the bolt can be inserted into the groove of the spline, and finally a cotter pin is used to lock the bolt Good to prevent accidents caused by the clamp fork being thrown out.
